Relax......It's Just Sex (1999)
Summary
A group of friends, both gay and straight, have to come to terms with the changes in their life. A gay man who can't make a relationship work, searches for true meaning in his life. A heterosexual couple who to all appearances have everything they need, discover that what they need is a little space. A gay man discovers he's HIV positive, and in the process, finds a new lover, and a lesbian couple find that their 'perfect' relationship isn't everything it was cracked up to be.
Review
A real mixed bag of relationships, this movie is, at first, deceptively lightweight, but it turns so much darker mid way through, that it makes you wonder if you shouldn't go back and rewatch the beginning with a different attitude!
The performances are powerful, and the cast all very likeable.
Enjoyable and occasionally thought provoking.
